According to a report from Citywire and confirmed by a Credit Suisse representative, Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) has named Citywire's Head of ESG Nisha Long as the head of sustainability research.
According to the spokesperson, Long will oversee CSAM's new Sustainability Research team, which is devoted to security-, thematic-, and sector-level sustainability research and focuses on assisting CSAM's ESG integration process. The hiring is part of a larger expansion and is intended to strengthen CSAM's commitment to net zero, along with its status as a signatory of the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative (NZAMi), according to a spokeswoman.
Long joins CSAM after spending more than 16 years with the financial publication and information company Citywire, where she most recently served as Head of ESG and Cross-border Investment Research.
She will begin her new position at Credit Suisse in January 2023, reporting to Jeroen Boes, the global head of sustainable investing for CSAM.
